Dit rock-concours wordt op 28 november 2026 voor de 7e keer door een aantal collega’s van Colruyt Groep georganiseerd, voor collega's van Colruyt Groep. Ze gaat ook dit jaar opnieuw door in een voor de groep historische omgeving, namelijk DOC in Alsemberg (De Oude Colruyt) - Beersel.

Wie kon inschrijven?

Collega’s of ex-collega’s (pensioen) uit heel België (of daarbuiten!) met een vast of jobstudenten-contract en die willen optreden als solo-artiest of met de band waar ze in spelen (geen DJ-set). Het speelt geen rol hoeveel ervaring die al heeft met opnames, optredens, wedstrijden, ... zolang de artiest(e) of op zijn minst 1 lid van de band verbonden is - of was (pensioen) - aan de Colruyt Groep. Kandidaturen die niet voldoen aan deze voorwaarden, werden sowieso niet weerhouden of kunnen tussen bekendmaken keuze en optreden alsnog vervangen worden. De link met de groepscollega's wordt daarmee extra in de verf gezet.

Uit de inzendingen werd door het organisatiecomité 5 artiesten of bands weerhouden (geen dj’s, tenzij die een onderdeel uitmaken van de band) die een set brengen van 20-25 minuten waaronder een verplichte cover. Dit jaar is de opdracht "You can't hurry love" van The Supremes of van Phil Collins of ... of...  of...  (tal van covers door de jaren heen).

De avond zelf - wie wint?

De winnaar van de avond wordt bepaald door een jury. Ook het publiek die avond aanwezig, kiest een favoriet, die dan de publieksprijs mee naar huis mag nemen.

Voor beide winnaars zijn er mooie waardevolle prijzen voorzien. De winnaar van de avond krijgt daarbovenop ook de uitnodiging om op de volgende editie de avond af te sluiten.

Dit jaar is dat Grey and Green, die de 6e editie hebben gewonnen. De publieksprijs op de 6e editie was trouwens voor Before Dawn

Who could enter?

Colleagues or former colleagues (retired) from all over Belgium (or beyond!) with a permanent or student contract who wish to perform as a solo artist or with the band they play in (no DJ sets). The night itself – who will win?

The winner of the night will be chosen by a panel of judges. The audience present that evening will also vote for their favourite, who will then take home the audience award.

There are some great, valuable prizes in store for both winners. On top of that, the winner of the evening will also receive an invitation to close the show at the next edition.

This year, that honour goes to Grey and Green, who won the 6th edition. Incidentally, the audience award at the 6th edition went to Before Dawn.

Qui pouvait s'inscrire ?

Les collaborateurs ou anciens collaborateurs (à la retraite) de toute la Belgique (ou d'ailleurs !) ayant un contrat à durée indéterminée ou de job étudiant et souhaitant se produire en tant qu'artiste solo ou avec le groupe dans lequel ils jouent (pas de set de DJ). Peu importe le niveau d’expérience en matière d’enregistrements, de concerts, de concours, etc., tant que l’artiste ou au moins un membre du groupe est – ou a été (à la retraite) – lié au groupe Colruyt. Les candidatures ne répondant pas à ces conditions n’ont de toute façon pas été retenues ou peuvent encore être remplacées entre l’annonce de la sélection et la prestation. Le lien avec les collègues du groupe est ainsi particulièrement mis en avant.

Parmi les candidatures, le comité d'organisation a sélectionné 5 artistes ou groupes (pas de DJ, sauf s'ils font partie du groupe) qui présenteront un set de 20 à 25 minutes comprenant une reprise obligatoire. Cette année, le morceau imposé est « You can't hurry love » des Supremes, de Phil Collins ou... ou... ou… (de nombreuses reprises au fil des ans).

Le soir même – qui va gagner ?

Le gagnant de la soirée sera désigné par un jury. Le public présent ce soir-là choisira également son favori, qui remportera alors le prix du public.

De superbes prix de grande valeur sont prévus pour les deux lauréats. Le gagnant de la soirée recevra en outre une invitation à clôturer la prochaine édition.

Cette année, il s’agit de Grey and Green, qui ont remporté la 6e édition. Le prix du public de la 6e édition avait d’ailleurs été décerné à Before Dawn.
